Dayspring

Olena Skytsiuk is one of the foremost practitioners of Ukrainian “Petrykivka” painting, a style born in the 17th century. Originally, these paintings were used to decorate household objects and were displayed against a white background. Today’s Petrykivka artists work on colourful backgrounds, as seen on this Dayspring design.
